Once again I have been blessed to review another yet to be released Gooseberry Patch book.
This cookbook is probably one of my favorites so far. Why? Because it’s chock full of recipes that involve using all sorts of veggies. Yay! Unfortunately with it being Winter a lot of the produce in the recipes are out of season but I have TONS of recipes marked to try.
Wait, that doesn’t mean I didn’t find a couple of recipes to try now. I picked a couple of breakfast recipes, because it’s my favorite meal of the day. I’ll show it to you in a second.
But first let me rave about the wonderful recipes in this book. If you ever wondered how you were going to use all that garden produce well then you’ll want to have this book handy.

I love breakfast,hard to pick a favorite if I had to pick probably would be fried egg and bacon sandwich with lots of black pepper and mayo, YUM !
That sounds like a great cookbook to have! I adore BACON, which we rarely have. It immediately rearranges its molecules right on my butt, LOL! So Special K cereal was on the menu this morning.

My all time favorite is fried egg sandwiches! Eggs fried in butter on toast with ketchup....An old Pennsylvania Dutch standby that kept us warm and full of energy while growing up on cold winter mornings!
I love hash browns, everything else is just welcomed delights.

My favorite breakfast is eggs benedict w/hashbrowns that are a little crunchy...now if I could figure out how to make poached eggs and a delightful sauce I would be one happy camper.

Hmmmm? My favorite breakfast is bacon and eggs -- crisp bacon, eggs over easy, side of buttered WW toast and tea. I don't eat them very often which, I guess, makes them extra special.

A stack of Big fluffy pancakes with warm syrup..sometimes with a dusting of confectionary suger depending on the mood :)
I Love Omlettes and French Toast. I love to go out for breakfast, it's nice to have someone wait on me for a change instead of me having to cook.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and could eat it for lunch and dinner too. But my all time favorite is a fried egg and bacon sandwich with Miracle Whip, tomato and fresh parsley. I already like Gooseberry Patch on FB. (LOVE is more like it.)
